Do not Tolerate Sickness

By Robert Rajamani

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people – Matthew 4:23

Sickness and disease is not from the Lord. The Lord does not teach us by putting sickness on us. That is against His nature, He is a good Father.

Sickness is a part of the fallen world, its part of the curse. It has its source in the devil and the kingdom of darkness. Jesus said the devil came to kill steal and destroy (John 10:10), he uses every means available to fulfill that agenda of killing, stealing and destroying. Sickness and disease is one of his major tools to attack us. His kingdom operates by Fear and Death, unlike the Kingdom of God which operates by Love and Life. He uses fear to keep people bound in slavery. Sickness is a weapon which he uses to keep us in fear. He has been successful in developing our faith in his weapons, we fear diseases or sickness, because we believe in its power to harm us and thus he keeps us bound to him. One of the biggest deception of the devil in this area is that sickness is from God and He uses it to teach and train us. Once you buy into that deception you will not resist sickness as you should.

In the life of Jesus He went preaching the gospel of the kingdom and was healing all kinds of diseases and sickness. (Matthew 4:23) Healing the sick was a major part of His ministry. He even asked His disciples to go preach the kingdom of God and heal the sick. (Luke 9:2, Matthew 10:8) Healing the sick is a big priority in the Kingdom of God. The Father’s heart is to see all His children free from sickness.

Jesus paid a heavy price on the cross to earn our salvation. He has paid the price for the salvation of our soul and also redeemed us from sickness, by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases (Matthew 8:17). Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (Gal 3:13).

When God himself is against sickness and stands by us to get us healed, no power of sickness can prevail against us. When God is for us who can be against us (Romans 8:31). Just resist sickness. Do not tolerate it. Tolerating sickness is despising the huge payment Jesus paid on the cross to redeem us from the curse.

Spend time in His Word for they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh. (Proverbs 4:22). Allow the Spirit of God to reveal the reality of what Jesus finished on the cross and stand on it. Speak to that mountain to move, As children of the most high we have the authority. Confess that you are healed by His stripes. Hold on to the Word until healing manifests.

Healing is the Children’s Bread in the Kingdom of God. Receive It!

God’s Promise is like a Seed

By Robert Rajamani

The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. – Matthew 13:24

In our walk with the Lord, we do walk through difficult circumstance at times, some mountains seems to take more time than we expect, to move. In times like these when we approach the Lord, He reveals things to us in our spirit through the Holy Spirit and through the Word of God. He also gives us specific promise for the given situation from the Word of God. Those promises will generate Faith in our heart to overcome the situation.

These promises that God gives are like a seed. They are planted in our heart by the Spirit of God. As we cling on to those promises and allow it to take root in our heart and nurture it with Faith and abide in His Word (John 15:7) and be led by the Spirit it will start to grow. The Word of Promise from God has life in it and it grows when nurtured by Faith. It is the Lord who brings the growth (1 Corinthians 3:7).

The way the Kingdom works is like seed growing in a good ground. It might take some time, but the process has started. If you stay firm in your confidence in what the Lord has promised you, the result will eventually come. The fulfillment of any promise that the Lord gives does not depend just on God, it needs our cooperation. You need to cooperate with God to see the fulfillment of the promise. All you need to do; is have Faith in His promise and stand firm  on it knowing that the one who has promised is a good Father and He will fulfill it. (1 Corinthians 16:13)

Just because it did not manifest right away does not mean that God did not speak or did not give you a promise. You need to stand firm on what God promised. As you stand firm on His promise the devil will come and attack your Faith, he will try to make you doubt on the goodness of God. It’s during this process that your Faith get stronger and becomes an ever increasing force which overcomes the problem. Don’t give up. Be patient. Let patience work (James 1:4).

As you wait patiently on the Lord, agreeing and confession to what He has promised for your situation and praising Him and not giving up, you will see the seed of the promise take root and grow and bear fruits. You will soon see the physical manifestation of the promise, and see that mountain move in your life.

So stand firm on what He has promised and you will see your mountain move away.

Wisdom of God

By Robert Rajamani

But to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks (Gentiles), Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. – 1 Corinthians 1:24

According to Paul, Christ crucified is the Wisdom of God. The redemptive work that God accomplished in Christ and redeemed man from his fallen state and restored him back to the position of His Sonship is the wisdom of God. God in His divine wisdom came up with the plan to redeem mankind in Christ by His death and resurrection.

The fullness of the understanding of the redemption plan of God in Christ is not something that a carnal man can understand. A carnal man operates on a different level, just following his flesh. So it’s a mystery to him. But the ones who are in Christ and have the Spirit of Christ in them, the Holy Spirit reveals the fullness of this Redemptive Plan in Christ.

Christ died on the cross as our substitute, He took our sin, curse, sickness, poverty and every other form of oppression and delivered us from it and finished the work and was resurrected in power on the third day. Today we can live in victory. As we understand this wisdom of God about what He did in Christ for us, we will live a victorious life.

The only way to understand the fullness of this wisdom of God is to be revealed to us in our spirit by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:7) As we spend time with the Holy Spirit, He reveals this plan more and more and helps us to understand all that God has prepared for us in Christ as Paul says: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him, But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit– 1 Corinthians 2:9,10

As a born again believer as you renew your mind with the Word of God, you have the mind of Christ. Having the mind of Christ is what it takes for you to understand this wisdom of God as the Spirit of God reveals it to your spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:16)

Spend time with Him and His Word and let Him reveal His Wisdom in what He did for you in Christ Crucified and live in the victory that Christ has purchased for you on the Cross
