Mind Governed by the Spirit of God

By Robert Rajamani

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6)

One’s life is controlled by their mind. As goes the mind so goes the man. Mind is just a tool to control and direct your life. If you find a way to control this mind in the right way, your life can go in the right direction.

Paul talks about two things that can govern our mind and based on what is governing it, the outcome can be completely different. One, our mind can be controlled by our flesh i.e. the carnal nature and it will lead to death both spiritual and physical, or our mind can be governed by the Spirit of God which will lead to Life and Peace. (Romans 8:6)

The Spirit of God will never dominate or control your mind against your will, you need to allow Him to govern it and be led by Him. If you are led by the Spirit of God you are a son of God, (Romans 8:14) you have access to the son ship position of Christ. You are no longer in bondage to the spirit of fear and death. You are adopted into the family of God, He becomes your Father and because of Christ you are Righteous and the Father finds no fault in you. You become a joint heir with Christ and share in the Inheritance of Christ. (Romans 8:17)

There is nothing more exciting in life than to be led by His Spirit and have access to the Inheritance of Christ. That Inheritance includes His Wisdom, His Blessing both Spiritual and Physical. When you are governed and led by the Spirit of God, you are functioning on a different law – The Law of the Spirit of Life (Romans 8:2). The law of sin and death in which the devil and his kingdom operates has no access to you.

A mind led by the Spirit of God will have Kingdom thoughts, will understand the Wisdom of God, will have the concepts of the Kingdom, and will operate on a different realm of reality. Will be able to heal the sick, walk on water, feed the multitude with few bread and fishes, speak to the dead and bring back to life. Life will be exciting for sure. This is normal life in the Spirit as it was intended by Jesus.

Yield to the Holy Spirit today and live a Supernatural Life. Nothing else in this life is more exciting!

Holy Spirit – Your Reliable Teacher

by Robert Rajamani

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. – John 14:26

The Bible is a living book. The Word of God is living, active and powerful. It has to be the foundation for our life. This whole universe is sustained by the Word of God. The world was created by it.

There are basically two ways by which you can understand the Word of God. One is by relying on your human understanding and the other is by relying on the Author Himself—The Holy Spirit.

By default you tend to interpret the Word of God just using your mind, your understanding and your background. Understanding it just by your intellectual ability can be misleading. You cannot limit the unlimited wisdom in the Word to your own understanding.

If you try to understand the Truths in the Word just on the basis of your human mind, there will be times when what you see in the Word does not make logical sense. To your brain any truth it is exposed to, seems logical only if it can find something to rely and leverage on. If it does not find any corresponding truth to leverage on it will reject it as illogical or irrational or impossible.

But if you try to understand the Word of God in your spirit with the help of the Holy Spirit, you have access to another dimension. So when a truth revealed in the Word does not find anything to leverage on in the natural mind, it will find a leverage in the spirit and it will make logical and rational sense.

There is a lot in the Word of God than what our human brain can comprehend. It is filled with mystery, wisdom, world changing truths, solutions to our problems which cannot be grasped by human logic and understanding. When you allow the Holy Spirit to reveal it to your spirit it becomes comprehensible. It’s the Spirit of God which inspired the prophets to reveal and write the Word of God. He is the one who knows the whole truth. Let Him interpret the Word for you and He will reveal the multi-dimensional truth in it.

Fellowship with the Spirit of God, get intimate with Him, let Him guide you in the Word. Don’t read the Word just by your human brain power, which will only make you academically strong. He wants to reveal His fullness to you, because it’s the Word of God which creates Faith in our heart and changes our life.

Be led by His Spirit and let Him interpret the Word of God for you.
Learn from Him and you will never go wrong.

Overcome By The Word of God

by Robert Rajamani

I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one. – 1 John 2:14

The Word of God is the creative force which created this world and everything in it. It is the rock solid foundation on which we need to build our life. As Jesus said, he who listens to my Word and obeys it is like a man who built his house on the rock, the storms will come and waters will rise, but the house will not be shaken (Matthew 7:24).

The Word of God has the presence of God, when it comes and abides in your heart it changes everything in your life. The Word abiding in our heart creates God kind of Faith and there is nothing in this physical realm which can prevail over this kind of Faith. This Faith overcomes everything in the world.

The devil will do everything to keep us down, he can throw sickness, poverty and every other form of oppression against us, but we will not be moved because we are founded on the Word of God. According to the above verse, we have already overcome the wicked on. The Word of Christ dwells in us and we are strong and have overcome the evil one.

Jesus said, “If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you.” (John 15:7) We abide in His Word by grabbing hold of His promises in our heart and trust in Him. As you Trust in Him, it forms a wall of protection around you and the devil cannot touch you. As you grow in your Trust in Him by letting His Word abide in you and meditating on it, the wall of protection gets bigger and stronger and the weapons of the enemy cannot penetrate that wall.

King Solomon said, “Keep His Word in the midst of your heart for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. (Proverbs 4:21,22). Meditating on Scriptures about healing and that Jesus bore our sickness on His body and by His stripes we are healed will manifest healing in your physical bodies.

Make the Word of God your high priority. Nothing is more important in life than to know Him and His purpose for your life through His Word. Spend time in His Word every day, do not ignore it. Meditate on the Word throughout the day, let the Spirit of God reveal the wisdom in the Word for your specific situation. He wants you to be successful and overcome every giant in your life. You do that by abiding in His Word.

Build your life on the Word of God and prevail over the devil.
